The End

        Hello my dear readers! Unfortunately, in this post I am going to finish this adventure of blogging. This post is going to be a review of the term and the things I have done so far.

        I must say that this course helped me to learn a lot of things about using technology in my teaching career. Above all I learnt how to find the sources, tools and stuff to help my lessons. I didn't pay much attention to the tools the teacher showed us because as she said they might disappear and new tools might be available for us to use. What we have to do is to find them and adapt them to our lectures.

        From my personal experience about this course, I know that it is so much fun to work on a thing  that I am interested. For example the magazine cover project was so much fun to me because of the main person in the magazine. I could adapt the project to my field of interest and it was fun. So, I think that if the course involve the projects adaptable to the students' interests, the students can be more eager to do the tasks.

       Honestly, every week having to do the homework in a deadline is exhausting and boring. This part of the class has been a problem for me. On the other hand teacher's lecturing and her use of English were two of the things that I liked about the course.

       This course has been very beneficial and sometimes fun for me. The things I learnt are not only will help me in my career but also they will be needed in my other courses, projects and tasks. My performance in this course was enough I suppose. I couldn't catch up with some of the homeworks but overall I think I have done fine.

       Anyways, It was fun to use this blog and I loved it but it is time to end it. Thank your for all who followed and read me. Take care!

MAGAZINE COVER PROJECT!

       Hello everyone! Today I am going to talk about my magazine cover project.

       First of all I have to say that It was my most entertaining project this year because finally I had the chance to work on a thing that I really like. I chose the magazine cover project and did a cover for an interview made with Dave Mustaine. I am a big fan and meeting with him is my dream so I used it in my project.
       I used ''canva'' for this one. I also realized how to use free properties of canva and made it all free. In my last post I complained about it but I got the experience and now I know how to use it free. So, you can do so. Anyways here is my magazine cover:

INFOGRAPHICS!

       Hello guys! In this post I'm going to talk about my inforgraphic work and the source I use to create it.

       Here is my infographic about the subject. Sorry for the quality but I had problems with downloading so I screenshot it. I used canva.com for it. Canva is a real helper when you have such tasks as inforgraphs and posters because it has a large variety of templates to edit and use. It also has a great deal of stickers, images, shapes and backgrounds. The worst part of it is downloading for the reason that they want you to pay for it.

       The process was a funny one for me because I really liked the site's giving you what you may need. So, giving a shape to your inforgraph turns into an amusement.

Digital Storytelling!

       Hello guys! Today I'm going to talk about me and my friend Ayşe's Digital Storytelling project.

       First of all, what is it all about? Well, the project basically aims to an educational purpose which is a theme of being careful at school. We thought that by the help of a simple plot we can give a simple message and help to raise awareness of little children.

       The making process was a real fun because of the sound recording part. Our repetitive tries to record the story ended up in a good way and we were able to finish the task. While editing, we thought that it is a good idea to add a chill background music. In the end our story is shaped. Here is the link for you to take a look. Have fun and see you next time!!!

Hello there! My first podcast ever is here!

The adventure of podcasting was really fun and I think It is helpful for both listener and publisher. It was hard to fit the words into sixty seconds but finally I made it! I also realized that listening podcasts can be a amazingly beneficial activity for my future students. Therefore I may use it in the future!

About RSS and Feed Readers

       When you are blogging, you also follow and take ideas from other bloggers. Following and visiting every one of them is a burden. For that case the feed readers are our heroes!

       RSS is basically a way to see all the newest posts made by the blogs you follow. By the help of the readers, you can see all the blogs you follow, all the newest posts of those blogs and you can read them on an interface. Personally I use RSS to follow my favourite teachers' blogs. I read their ideas and that helps to expand my vision of teaching methods. 

       There is a large variety of RSS readers. You can use them within your browser or you can download them and use it that way. I personally use a Chrome plugin. Here you can see the interface and the blogs I follow:

       My favourite blog is ''English Teaching 101" because the blogger Melchor takes a look at the problems that teachers, parents and students face from each of their perspectives. Language teaching is the main subject but the communication between those three is commonly subjected in there. The way he looks to the problems and dilemmas and the solutions he give are inspiring for me.

21st Century Learning

       We live in a time that technology and every other perspective of life is engaged. Therefore it is necessary to use technology in education.

       21st century learning is based on some terms and methods which allows learner to think critical, collaborate, have creativity and communicate effectively. Here is a word cloud filled with the key words of 21st century learning:

       For a student living in this time, it is a must to possess those skills and use them in their lives. Those terms have a common idea to follow which is ''student centered instruction''. In order to this idea, student should learn by himself, be effective in pair or group work, be entegrated with the society and think radically. 21st century learning method basically tells us that teachers should have a passive role in teaching process.
